We are looking for a professional who has strong team and project management skills, familiarity with quality inspections, and most importantly aligns with our team values (Service, Quality, Consult, Safety, Share).  This position is based in the Lower Mainland area and will be responsible for managing inspection contracts with our municipal and utility clients.

  • Facilitate weekly team calls and regular check-in calls with inspectors
  • Lead quality management, training, and safety of our inspection team, supported by our Inspection Technical Lead
  • Manage our inspection client accounts by facilitating client meetings and communications, providing quotations, reviewing invoices, and managing contracts and purchase orders
  • Oversee payroll and expenses of the inspection team, and manage work forecasts and staffing
  • Participate in inspector recruitment and coordinate new inspectors’ orientation
  • Participate in business development activities to expand our inspection service including responding to RFPs and representing Maven externally to potential clients and associations
  • Contribute to company strategy
  • Perform project management services for the implementation of our client’s capital projects with budgets of $10K to $500K. Includes creating project management documents (schedules, costs), coordinating with stakeholders, supporting procurement, and overseeing consultant and contractor work.


  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as engineering, business, or economics
  • A Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification would be an asset
  • 5+ years of experience working on civil projects and 3+ years working in project management
  • Experience working as a quality inspector, quality manager, construction manager/supervisor, or project manager for utility and municipal clients would be an asset
  • Proven ability to lead teams, projects, and work independently
  • Excellent planning, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills in English
  • Excellent use of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Located in the Lower Mainland and available to come into our Office at least two days a week
