Jesse Unke
P.Eng., PE, PMP, ENV SP, CCIP
President & CEO
Jesse is an engineering and construction executive with over 20 years of experience. He is a notable figure in the industry and on the forefront of the latest innovations. Jesse brings with him extensive experience developing and empowering high-performing teams, while ensuring a healthy and safe working environment incorporating an equitable, diverse, inclusive, and trustworthy approach to leadership.
Jesse has been recognized as one of Engineers Canada 30 by 30 EDI Champions for leaders in engineering workplaces. And in 2020, he was recognized in the Top 40 Under 40 in Canadian Construction by On-Site Magazine and SitePartners!
Maraika De Groot
P.Eng, MMIE
Director of Corporate Services
Maraika is passionate about creating cultures for people to be their best. She’s built her career in a variety of industries including engineering, education, and finance, from start-ups to enterprises. Maraika is a professional geotechnical engineer with consulting experience focused on dam design and construction, and holds a Master’s in Management Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
At Maven, Maraika is responsible for Human Resources, Health & Safety, Technology, and Facilities. She uses her experience to enhance Maven’s culture by shining a light on the great that already exists and to implement strategy to scale our processes and technology for growth.
Lisa Graul
P.Eng, PMP
Deputy Director, Project Delivery
Lisa brings over two decades of expertise in project management, operations, and engineering to our team. She has successfully led multimillion-dollar projects such as the Tent Mountain Pumped Hydro development and the Access Pipeline Northeast Expansion pipeline.
Lisa’s strategic approach, developed from early career roles as a Construction Manager and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Manager, makes her a valuable addition to our team. Her commitment to excellence and safety has been instrumental in delivering successful projects that consistently meet and exceed client expectations.
Beth Miller
MBA, MPAcc, BIT
Director of Finance
Beth has an MBA, Masters of Accounting, and Bachelor of Information Technology degrees. With over 20 years of experience and tertiary qualifications in business, accounting and technology, she brings a breadth of knowledge around defining and establishing well controlled systems and processes that facilitate growth.
At Maven Consulting, Beth is responsible for leading our finance, accounting, and corporate administration functions.
