Project Description And Maven’s Role
The Suffield Solar Facility is located on privately owned land in Cypress County approximately 10 km northwest of the hamlet of Suffield, Alberta. The 23 MW facility includes bifacial solar photovoltaic panels, single-axis trackers, panel racking systems, internal access roads, cabling, electrical inverters and other related electrical equipment.
The project created over 100 jobs during construction and will produce enough energy to power over 7,300 homes annually.
Maven’s role was to support the commissioning of the tracker systems for the solar plant.
