Project Description and Maven’s Role
The scope of the Mills Ranch Renewable study project was to perform a study of the existing two-generator system, and the load requirement of the ranch. A feasibility study was conducted to assess the existing power generation systems, study the nature of the electrical load and assess the feasibility of renewable energy generation at the site. This resulted in the specification of generation system consisting of a combination of a diesel and solar power.
Maven’s role was to perform a site visit, perform a renewable resource assessment to determine the viablity of the imlpelementation of renewable energies, and to provide guidance on load management. In doing so, Maven provided project managemnet services and collaborated with a specialist engineer to deliver the assessment.
