Project Description and Maven’s Role
The Power Corp relies on electrical distribution infrastructure in communities across NWT to provide reliable electrical services to ratepayers. Maven is supporting these efforts by developing and leading a distribution pole replacement program for the Power Corp.
Maven’s pole replacement program takes test & treat data and other inputs from the operations team and uses it to inspect and survey the identified wooden poles and complete an engineering analysis. As project managers, Maven is responsible for ensuring work is minimizes costs to the Corporation while meeting Maven’s high safety and quality standards.
The photo above shows an example of our pole strength and clearance checks. Maven continues to support the test and treat maintenance programs for the distribution infrastructure at NTPC through this repeatable program.
