Project Description and Maven’s Role
Columbia Power’s objective was to develop a Strategic Asset Management Plan (SAMP) for the hydroelectric assets owned through their Joint Ventures.
Maven delivered the SAMP including providing Asset Management technical expertise and project management. Existing asset management documentation and facility management agreements were reviewed, and interviews conducted with Columbia Power staff to understand the business model and current Asset Management practices and roles and responsibilities.
Maven applied the relevant sections from the ISO 55000 Asset Management Maturity Matrix to develop a SAMP that would guide the client in its asset management decisions and instruct them on the next steps required at an operational level.
